Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 28 August 2026
These terms set out the basis on which you use this website and on which we provide our commercial waste comparison, set-up and account support service. Please read them before you ask us for a quote or sign a Letter of Authority.
1. Who we are
Profitwize Waste is a trading name of the Profitwize Partnership, registered in England and Wales. Our business address is Suite 1-3 Westminster Buildings, Theatre Square, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG1 6LG. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC199096.
You can contact us by email at david@profitwize.co.uk, by phone or WhatsApp on 07915 377214, or by post at the address above. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Profitwize Waste, and “you” and “your” mean the organisation we are quoting for or supporting.
2. Who these terms apply to
Our service is provided to businesses, charities, public bodies and other organisations acting in the course of their trade, business, craft or profession. It is not offered to consumers, and we do not arrange household waste collections.
3. What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website and the service we provide to you: reviewing your current arrangements, obtaining pricing, setting up your account and supporting it day to day.
They do not govern the waste collection service itself. Your collections are supplied under a separate contract between you and the supplier you choose, on that supplier’s own terms and conditions, which are provided to you in full before you sign anything. Please read them, because your prices, bin sizes, collection frequency, contract term, notice period, weight allowances and any additional charges are set out there. Where anything in these terms appears to conflict with that contract, that contract takes priority.
4. What we do
- review your current waste arrangements and costs;
- compare pricing from licensed UK waste suppliers for the waste streams you produce;
- present you with a single clear quote and explain what is included;
- set up your account, bins and collection schedule once you decide to proceed;
- give you one named account manager and, where you have more than one site, a single point of contact across all of them; and
- help with day-to-day account matters such as service changes, missed collections, bin exchanges and billing queries.
We do not collect, transport, treat or dispose of waste ourselves.
5. Quotations
Any quotation we give you is based on the information you provide, including your current bills, bin sizes, waste types, collection frequency and site access. A quotation:
- is indicative until it is confirmed in writing and your contract is issued;
- is valid for 30 days from issue unless we state otherwise;
- assumes the information you gave us is accurate and complete; and
- may be withdrawn or amended if a site survey, access check or waste assessment shows the position is materially different.
Requesting or receiving a quotation places you under no obligation whatsoever. You are only committed once you sign the contract we send you.
6. Letter of Authority
Before we can obtain accurate pricing we normally need a signed Letter of Authority (“LOA”). An LOA authorises us to:
- request copies of your bills, contract and account information from your existing supplier;
- obtain pricing on your behalf; and
- discuss and administer your account with suppliers on your behalf.
An LOA does not authorise us to sign a contract in your name, to end an existing contract without your instruction, or to make any payment. It does not commit you to taking a service from us. You may withdraw an LOA at any time by writing to us at the contact details in section 1, and we will act on that withdrawal without delay.
7. Information you give us
The quality of what we can do for you depends on the information we are given, so please give us accurate and complete information about your site, your waste and your existing arrangements, and tell us promptly if anything changes. We are not responsible for pricing that turns out to be wrong, or for a service that turns out to be unsuitable, because the information we were given was incomplete or inaccurate.
8. What you pay us
Our comparison, set-up and account support service is provided to you free of charge. You are never invoiced by us.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, business interruption, loss of goodwill, wasted management time, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with our service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited in aggregate to £3 million.
We are not responsible for the performance, acts or omissions of the supplier you contract with, or of any carrier or disposal facility, or for anything governed by the contract described in section 3. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact your account manager on 07915 377214 or at david@profitwize.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to give you a final response within 20 working days. If we cannot resolve it, we will tell you in writing what we have concluded and why.
11. Data protection
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why we hold it, who we share it with and what rights you have.
12. Use of this website

13. General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page, and the effective date is shown at the top. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. No third party has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
